Upper Ansdore is a medieval house, dating back to sometime in the 14th Century, located in a peaceful, countryside setting with a network of footpaths and bridleways stemming from the doorstep.
Steeped in history, the house retains many original features with guests enjoying a farmhouse breakfast in the oak beamed dining room, furnished with antiques and featuring a large inglenook fireplace.
Cosy ensuite bedrooms are furnished in a country style with some wonderful views across the Duckpit valley.

Local Area
Explore the stunning countryside surrounding Upper Ansdore by car, on foot, by bike, or even on horse back and ride in the bluebell woods. We can supply Ordnance survey maps, and bikes for the day, with the village stables offering hacks by horseback. And if the country exercise gets too much, the historic cathedral city of Canterbury is only a 15 minute drive away or just relax in the lovely garden.
